Derek Engh is a Fire and Life Safety authority with over 25  years of experience serving on the front lines and in the  regulatory system. He retired Firefighter, volunteer Fire  Captain and currently holds credentials as a certified Safety  Codes Officer (B2 Fire) in Alberta. Derek combines a rare, on the-ground emergency response perspective with deep  expertise in local, state and international codes, allowing him  to design comprehensive life safety systems for critical  facilities ranging from schools to the Kennedy Space Center.  'As a subject matter expert for F11 Fire and Life Safety, he  champions a message of Proactive Preparedness, challenging  build owners and managers to move beyond "Safety Third"  compliance to achieve guaranteed peace of mind and asset  protection.
