What happens to your gear after an incident involving lithium-ion batteries? Is there a greater risk of car fires in parking garages when EVs are present? NFPA’s Fire Protection Research Foundation is in the throes of several projects that will help to answer questions and concerns about lithium-ion batteries and the impact on firefighter training, response, overhaul, and health.
