Julien Bergeron has served Northern Sunrise County since  2006 originally as a paid-on-call firefighter and eventually got  hired as Deputy Fire Chief in 2013. He is proud to continue his  service in the municipality where he was born and raised. In  2022, DC Bergeron received the Emergency Management  Exemplary Service Award for the Outstanding Contribution to  Emergency Management for his work with the Northwest  AHIMT and contribution to regional incident management. He  created Northern Trek for CFFF in 2018 to raise awareness and  funds for the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation which is  now the second largest fundraiser nationwide for the CFFF.
