Rob McAdam is Associate Vice President of Accreditation and  Compliance at the Safety Codes Council, where he leads  Albertas accreditation program under the Safety Codes Act,  and ensures accredited organizations deliver high levels of  compliance.  With over two decades of experience in public safety,  including serving as Deputy Fire Chief for the City of  Edmonton, Rob has spearheaded innovative initiatives that  strengthen fire prevention, code compliance, and community  resilience. His career spans firefighting and training, fire  investigation, Safety Codes Administration, and regulatory  leadership, giving him a unique perspective on the  intersection of emergency services and Safety Code  governance. Rob is passionate about collaboration between  fire services and regulatory bodies to advance performance based solutions and ensure Albertans benefit from both  innovation and uncompromising safety for citizens and  emergency responders.
